Pop stars Lee Hyo-ri and Yoon-a have apologized for visiting a karaoke parlor during lockdown and live-streaming the soiree on social media.
Wednesday night's outing of the two drew vociferous attacks from online commenters who felt it was inappropriate in coronavirus times.
"I got carried away and wasn't thinking properly," Lee said. And Yoon-a added, "I apologize for acting so rashly."
Lee debuted as a member of the girl group Fin.K.L in 1998 before going solo and has remained a popular TV celebrity thanks to her straightforwardness and girl-next-door image. She recently made headlines when she performed on a variety show with comedian Yoo Jae-suk and singer Rain.
