One out of three companies in Korea switched to remote working since the coronavirus epidemic began.
The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry released a survey Tuesday of some 300 companies, which showed that around 34 percent of businesses are currently allowing employees to work from home. That is four times more than before the epidemic hit.
More than 70 percent of the workers are satisfied, and more than half of the companies said that work efficiency is almost the same as before. But many companies do not seem ready to embrace the new way of working as some 70 percent said they will not continue the work-from-home setup after the epidemic ends.
