Most Small Businesses' Earnings Shrink

    Ninety percent of small businesses have seen their earnings shrink due to the coronavirus outbreak, a poll suggests.

    In the Gallup Korea poll of 1,000 workers both employed and self-employed last week, 46 percent of respondents said their income dwindled over the past month. Only one percent said their income grew, while 51 percent said there has been no change.

    Among small business owners, 90 percent said their earnings shrank, compared to only 10 percent who said there has been no change." Among office workers, only 33 percent complained about their dwindled income.

    Those in their 50s complained the most of their shrunken income with 62 percent.
