Korea's anti-trust regulator has ordered Netflix to change what it deems to be unfair terms in its subscription contracts.
The Fair Trade Commission said on Wednesday that it has taken issue with provisions including one that allows the U.S. video streaming platform to change subscription fees without a user's consent.
Under the revised terms, Netflix will also bear responsibility for damages inflicted on users by account hackings and other illegitimate activities.
Netflix is the first global streaming service provider that the regulator has ordered to make changes to its contracts.
