North Korea's Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui on Wednesday said another summit between her country and the U.S. would be "impossible" unless Washington drops all "hostile policies" against the North.
"In my opinion, the discussions related to the nuclear issue might have been taken off the negotiating table for future talks," Choe told reporters in Moscow. "I think the nuclear issue can be discussed again when the U.S. abolishes all hostile policies toward North Korea."
Neither Choe nor any other North Korean official has specified what constitutes "hostile policies," but the North's Foreign Ministry has labeled a recent UN resolution against its human rights abuses a U.S.-led "political provocation."
The regime has also called for an end to joint military drills with Seoul, as well as the lifting of economic sanctions.
