Samsung's foldable smartphone has become an instant hit in China.
Samsung said on Weibo on Saturday that the Galaxy Fold sold out within five minutes after its online sales began on Friday.
On JD.com, China's second largest online retailer, it took only two seconds before all available phones were sold.
A total of 20,000 Galaxy Folds were supplied to Chinese online and offline stores, where they are selling for around US$2,300. China is the 24th country in which the device has been rolled out.
Chinese phone maker Huawei is set to launch its Mate X foldable phone later this week.
