Korea has advanced to the quarterfinals of the FIFA U-17 World Cup by defeating Angola 1-0 in the round of 16 match in Brazil on Tuesday.
It is the third time Korea has reached the quarterfinals after 1987 and 2009.
Forward Choi Min-seo scored an opening goal in the 33rd minute, and goalkeeper Shin Song-hoon made several spectacular saves to maintain the slim lead.
Now Korea will face Mexico in Sunday's quarterfinals.
"It doesn't matter which team we face. What matters is how we play. We will do our best till the end," said coach Kim Jung-soo.
