Hyundai on Thursday released teaser images of its new Grandeur large sedan, which will hit showrooms next month.
It is a face-lifted version of the sixth-generation Grandeur released in 2016, which logged solid sales of 340,000 units until last month.
The new model is 60 mm longer than its predecessor, at 4,990 mm. The wheelbase has also been lengthened by 40 mm, allowing more interior space. The dashboard and navigation display are placed next to each other in a seamless design, and the gearshift has been replaced with an electronic button system.
A Hyundai staffer said, "In the past, corporate executives were our target customer group for the Grandeur, but the new target is urban professionals who prefer to wear T-shirts and jeans."
