Japanese fast-fashion brand Uniqlo's CEO Tadashi Yanai has attacked the Japanese government for the way it is treating Korea.
In an interview in the Japanese weekly Nikkei Business on Monday, Yanai said it is odd that Tokyo is behaving so aggressively towards Seoul amid worsening ties.
Uniqlo has taken a beating from Koreans' boycott of Japanese products. Yantai, perhaps in a bid to pacify Korean consumers, said the Abe administration has become "hysterical" in its dealings with Korea and he understands why Koreans have responded the way they have.
