Kim Jong-un Reappears in Public After Month's Absence

      North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has appeared in public for the first time in about a month. The official [North] Korean Central News Agency on Wednesday said Kim inspected a farm run by the Korean People's Army.

      It featured photos of Kim looking at corn cobs and peanut fields in the time-honored fashion of North Korean dictators gazing blankly at things.

      Meanwhile, the official Rodong Sinmun daily criticized South Korean lawmakers for ratifying a resolution urging the North to halt its nuclear weapons program and missile tests.

      The daily described the resolution as the "result of a filthy collusion between ruling and opposition political racketeers" and an "unacceptable act of challenge against the same brethren."
