Ryu Hyun-jin of the Los Angeles Dodgers helped his team claim another victory in the National League Division Series. The Dodgers beat the Washington Nationals 10-4 in their third post-season game at Nationals Park in Washington D.C. on Sunday.
Ryu gave up two earned runs and struck out three in the first five innings before being substituted. The Dodgers now lead 2-1 in the best-of-five series, moving one step closer to the National League Championship Series next week.
Ryu, who took the mound eight days after his last regular-season win against the San Francisco Giants last month, bagged his third post-season career victory following wins over the St. Louis Cardinals in 2013 and the Atlanta Braves last year.
His overall post-season earned run average fell from 4.11 to 4.05.
