Four crewmembers remaining onboard the cargo ship Golden Ray that capsized off the coast of the U.S. state of Georgia were rescued Monday after some 36 hours in mortal peril.
Some 24 people were onboard the ship operated by Korea's Hyundai Glovis at the time of the incident, and six Koreans, 13 Filipinos and the American pilot were rescued immediately.
The Golden Ray began listing heavily after it departed from the Port of Brunswick at around 1:40 a.m. on Sunday heading to the Port of Baltimore. It is still unclear what caused the ship to tilt over.
