Kim Shin-wook of Shanghai Greenland Shenhua has been included in the roster for the second round of 2022 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers.
Korea's head coach Paulo Bento unveiled the 26-man roster on Monday, ahead of matches against Georgia and Turkmenistan next month. It is the first time Kim has made the roster since Bento took the helm.
The striker last played for Korea during the World Cup in Russia last year.
Also included are Lee Kang-in of Valencia CF, Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur, Hwang Hee-chan of Red Bull Salzburg and Hwang Ui-jo of Girondins de Bordeaux.
Korea will play an away match against Turkmenistan on Sept. 10, following a match against Georgia in Istanbul, Turkey on Sept. 5.
