Thousands of Koreans took to the streets in Seoul on Saturday evening carrying candles to protest against Japan.

More than 15,000 people gathered in front of the Japanese Embassy before marching down the streets, with speakers denouncing Japan's removal of Korea from a "whitelist" of preferential trade partners as a form of "economic invasion."
