Korean convenience stores are joining a boycott of Japanese goods over the two countries' trade spat by scrapping discounts on Japanese beer.
Korea's largest convenience chain CU, for example, will be excluding Japanese brands like Asahi and Sapporo from a popular offer of four beer cans for W10,000 starting next month (US$1=W1,182).
Some stores have taken Japanese beer off their shelves completely.
