The body of the captain of the Hableány was found Tuesday in the wheelhouse where he died at his post when the pleasure boat sank in the Danube last month with 33 Korean passengers on board.

He was found after the wreck was raised from the shallow water by crane some two weeks after the tragedy, exposing crushed surfaces and shattered windows.

Two Hungarian and two Korean rescue divers entered the wreck and searched inside. They also found four bodies of what appear to be Korean passengers including a six-year-old girl.

Among the Korean passengers who were aboard the Hableány, which sank when it was rammed by a Swiss cruise ship on May 29, seven were rescued and the bodies of 15 have been found so far. Four remain missing.

Search workers said they would conduct another search once the wreck has been hoisted atop a barge, while investigators will gather evidence of what caused the ship to sink.

Rescue workers continue to search for the missing passengers with helicopters, drones and sniffer dogs.
