Legendary British rock band Queen will come to Korea for a concert early next year, buoyed by the global success of the heavily airbrushed biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" about their heyday and late lead singer Freddie Mercury.
Queen will perform at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Jan. 18-19, according to Hyundai Card. They also performed in Korea during a rock festival in 2014, but this will be their first solo gig here.
Only two members of their original lineup, Brian May and Roger Taylor on guitar and drums, remain. Adam Lambert, who rose to fame in 2009 after appearing on "American Idol," will be joining them on the tour.
Advance ticket sales start in mid-June. For further information, call (02) 3141-9226.
