Singer and actress Su-zy will leave JYP Entertainment at the end of this month as her contract with Korea's leading management agency ends.
JYP in a statement on Tuesday confirmed her departure, saying, "We are announcing that our contract with Su-zy will end on March 31. We had long talked with her [about her contract] over the past few months and both sides agreed not to renew it."
"Although Su-zy is no longer with us, we sincerely wish her the best for the future," it added.
Su-zy has been with the agency since her debut as a member of now-disbanded girl group miss A in 2010, successfully expanding her career as a solo singer and actress. She is reportedly moving to another agency that mainly represents actors.
She is currently shooting a new TV series, which is set to air in May.
