The UN World Food Programme will soon finalize a new aid program worth about US$160 million for North Korea, Radio Free Asia reported Thursday.
The program aims to deliver nutrition supplements to 2.8 million North Koreans until the end of 2021.
Discussion on the new aid program will be held during a meeting of the agency's board of directors that starts on Feb. 25, WFP spokesman David Orr told RFA.
