The government has laid out its aim for Korea to be a global leader in the hydrogen and fuel cell market.
At a meeting in Seoul on Wednesday, Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki said the government plans to produce around 80,000 hydrogen vehicles by 2022, up from its initial target of 20,000 set last year.
The government also plans to nurture experts in the field of artificial intelligence.
