The Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday it has set aside its first separate budget to be spent on highlighting the issue of wartime sexual slavery around the world.
The budget will be spent on promoting international cooperation against sexual violence in conflict zones.
The ministry has set aside W498 million to organize forums and seminars to discuss how to protect women in troubled parts of the world, and to raise global awareness of the victims (US$1=W1,131).
