Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur scored a goal and posted an assist against Leicester City on Saturday. The goal during the away match was Son's fifth of the season and his second in two matches after he scored in last Wednesday's match against Southampton.
His left-foot strike from 20 yards in first-half stoppage time gave Tottenham a 1-0 lead. Son set up Dele Alli's header in the 58th minute to record an assist and help the team to a 2-0 victory.
He will start against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League match on Tuesday.
Son has been in top form since he had some vital recovery time after a hectic international schedule during the summer.
He represented Korea in a number of international fixtures including the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia, and a series of friendlies. Son has been excluded from the national team roster since November, as the Korea Football Association and Tottenham agreed that he would not be called for international matches until January next year.
