Korea drew a friendly against Panama 2-2 on Tuesday.

Playing their fourth match under coach Paulo Bento in front of a sellout crowd in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, the Korean footballers squandered a two-goal lead.

Korea led 2-0 at halftime thanks to goals from Park Joo-ho and Hwang In-beom in the fourth and 32nd minutes.

However, Korea, ranked 55th in the world by FIFA, showed a number of weaknesses against world No. 70 Panama, particularly in defense. Star goalie Jo Hyeon-woo, who established himself as a top keeper with stellar performances at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and Asian Games in Indonesia, allowed two goals in his first game under the new coach.

Bento, however, preserved his unbeaten record with two wins and two draws.

Some 25,556 fans turned out to see the match, marking Korea's fourth sold-out friendly in a row.

Korea will travel to Australia next month for friendlies against the host nation and Uzbekistan.
