China's biggest online travel agency is set to expand its presence in Korea's tourism market. Ctrip will set up a round-the-clock customer center in Seoul later this month to better cater to Korean tourists traveling abroad.

It is the firm's first customer center targeting a single country in Asia, Ctrip CEO Jane Sun said at a press conference in Seoul on Wednesday.

With some 200 Korean employees, the center will first focus on helping customers book flight tickets and later offer hotel and train booking services.

Headquartered in Shanghai, Ctrip went public on the Nasdaq exchange in 2003. It generated sales of US$4.1 billion last year.
