English singer-songwriter Sam Smith held a concert at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Tuesday.
It was his first visit to Korea as part of an Asian tour to promote his latest album, "The Thrill of It All," which was released last year. Tickets for his concert in Korea sold out almost immediately after going on sale in April.
He thrilled over 20,000 fans there with his hit songs like "I'm Not the Only One" and "Lay Me Down" ranging from a husky tone to a soft falsetto during the one-and-a-half-hour concert.
Smith arrived in Seoul last week, a couple of days before his concert, to get some sightseeing and explore things about Korea.
On the first day of his visit, he got a tattoo under his right armpit in the trendy Hongik University area. He also looked around Gyeongbok Palace and tried sannakji, or fresh chopped octopus, still wriggling on the plate, at a market in Seoul.
