Boy band Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS, will make a speech at the UN General Assembly next week.
They will attend an event for a project called "Generation Unlimited" by UNICEF which is "dedicated to increasing opportunities and investments for children and young people" and give a three-minute speech in English on Sept. 24.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore will also attend the event.
Since November last year, BTS have been campaigning to stop violence against children.
Meanwhile, BTS, who kicked off their world tour with a concert in Los Angeles on Sept. 5, will stage a concert at Citi Field in New York on Oct. 6. BTS will be the first K-pop act to hold a solo concert at the venue.
