South Korea finished second overall in the 52nd International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Shooting Championships in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, which concluded on Friday.
The country won 11 gold, 14 silver and 11 bronze medals.
China was the overall winner with 20 gold, 15 silver, and eight bronze medals. North Korea, which sent a 22-person delegation to compete in 14 events, finished in 31st place with two silver and two bronze medals.
This year's world championships was the largest ever, drawing over 4,300 athletes and staff from 91 countries.
