President Moon Jae-in's approval rating has fallen to the lowest point since his inauguration at 56 percent.
According to Gallup Korea on Friday, Moon's approval rating, which stood at 79 percent immediately after the local elections on June 13, fell for eight consecutive weeks but rebounded to 60 percent the week before last, only to drop again.
Disapproval of Moon also soared to a new high of 33 percent, mainly due to his poor handling of the economy cited by 45 percent.
Moon's approval rating fell below 50 percent among small-business owners and housewives at 44 and 46 percent.
