Ryu So-yeon won the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Sunday.

Ryu carded a 21-under 267 to claim a two-stroke victory over Caroline Masson of Germany.

She came into the final round two strokes behind Anna Nordqvist and Lee-Anne Pace but made six birdies and a bogey to rise to the top.

It is Ryu's sixth career victory, coming a year after her win at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship in June last year.

Korean players have won five out of 16 LPGA events so far this season.
