The sunken ferry Sewol will be put into an upright position this week. It will allow for a more thorough search as there are still five missing victims who have not been accounted for.
More than 300 people died when the ship sank in April 2014, and most of them were high school students on a field trip. The ship was raised from the seabed last year, but has since been lying on its side after being moved on land.
Salvage workers installed about 30 steel beams under the vessel on Monday and said that the ship could be placed upright later this week, weather permitting.
