The government is planning the summit between President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Panmunjom on Friday, down to the smallest gesture.
The reason is that parts of the summit will be broadcast live. A government official said, "The summit will be broadcast live so everything will be shown to the world. At such a major diplomatic event, every movement and gesture has to be treated sensitively."

Cheong Wa Dae Chief of Staff Im Jong-seok and Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon held a two-hour rehearsal at the border truce village on Tuesday.
Im toured routes the two leaders will take as they head to the venue, the Peace House on the South Korean side.
Another rehearsal with officials from both ides is taking place on Wednesday, and a dress rehearsal is scheduled for Thursday.
