The leaders of the two Koreas will sit down to dinner together after their summit on Friday. Officials from the two sides agreed the plan on Monday in preparatory talks in the border truce village of Panmunjom.

Cheong Wa Dae press secretary Kwun Hyuk-ki said that President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will first attend a welcoming ceremony before holding the summit, which will be followed by a state dinner.

The two sides also "agreed to allow the South Korean press to cross over into the North Korean side of the military demarcation line to report on Kim's arrival at the MDL" from the North Korean side of the truce village, Kwun said.
