Kim Si-woo is set to compete at the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia from Thursday, as the lone Korean golfer.
This is Kim's second time in the tournament after he made his major PGA championships debut at the Masters last year.
He failed to make the cut at that time but secured a place for the event until 2020 by winning the Players Championship last May.
"I've completely recovered from a back injury, so I want to make the cut this time." Kim said.
He speculated that Tiger Woods will show a strong performance this year.
"Tiger Woods has a fair chance to win as he's almost returned to his best form and he's familiar with the course," he said.
