Seven out of every 10 workers in Korea are dissatisfied with their working conditions, a straw poll suggests.

Hankook Research polled 1,000 office workers between 20 and 59 for office furniture maker Fursys and found that 67.1 percent are unhappy with their working environment.

Cramped office space, inconvenient layouts and a lack of personal space accounted for 37.8 percent of the complaints, followed by poor air quality, air conditioning or heating and noise with 29.9 percent, and office furniture with 21.9 percent.

Some 79 percent said the office environment affects work satisfaction.
