Cha Jun-hwan finished 15th in the men's singles figure skating at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang on Saturday. He set a personal best in both the short and free programs.

With a combined total of 248.59 points, Cha wrapped up his first Olympic appearance in 15th place, the best-ever finish by a Korean male skater.

Jung Sung-il previously held the record with a 17th-place finish at the 1994 Lillehammer Games.

At just 17 years of age, Cha is an expressive skater who has a bright future ahead of him if he can add the quadruple jump to his arsenal.
