LG will unveil its latest V30 flagship smartphone at the Mobile World Congress, which kicks off on Feb. 26 in Barcelona, Spain, the company said on Tuesday.
The device makes liberal use of artificial intelligence. Its AI-based cameras automatically recognize objects and suggest optimal settings based on color, background, and levels of illumination and saturation.
"We put more than 100 million pictures into 1,000 categories while creating the AI-based photography," an LG spokesman said.
The camera also offers a function to display purchase links onscreen so that users can shop for items they have just photographed.
The AI technology will be added to the V and G series phones through a software update.
