Korea exported 71 of the world's best-selling products in 2016, placing 13th worldwide, a notch up from the previous year, according to the Korea International Trade Association on Tuesday.
The top exports included 25 chemical products, 15 steel goods, seven textiles and six electronics. A total of 17 new items entered the list, while 14 items fell off.
China topped the list of exporters with 1,693 top sellers, followed by Germany (675) and the U.S. (572). Japan and India also outpaced Korea with 178 and 156 items, respectively.
