President Moon Jae-in will have dinner with U.S. Vice President Mike Pence at Cheong Wa Dae on Thursday, presidential spokesman Kim Eui-kyeom said Friday.

Pence heads the U.S. delegation to the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, which start the next day.

Moon will also meet Chinese politburo member Han Zheng, who leads the Chinese delegation. On Friday he will talk with UN Secretary-General António Guterres over lunch and then meet with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

Moon is also expected to sit down with leaders from Estonia, Canada, Lithuania, Switzerland, Germany, Latvia, Norway and Slovenia in the next couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, the White House last Thursday announced a list of officials who will accompany Pence, includes Ed Royce, the chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Gen. Vincent Brooks, the commander of the U.S. Forces Korea, former USFK commander James Thurman. Pence will also be accompanied by his wife Karen.

But contrary to expectations, no member of U.S. President Donald Trump's family is coming, or at least not yet.
