New sets of commemorative coins and banknotes for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang were unveiled in Seoul on Wednesday.
The organizers of the Olympics released a series of commemorative coins and banknotes and sold them separately last year. But this time, they put them together in one set.
This special set consists of four gold, 15 silver and two bronze coins, along with three banknotes.
Only 888 sets are available at this time, and a set costs W11 million (US$1=W1,071). The number 888 comes from combining "88" from the 1988 Seoul Olympics and "8" from Pyeongchang 2018.
Purchasers can have their names engraved on the box of the commorative set.
The coins and banknotes will be available for pre-order from Jan. 15 to Jan. 26 at major banks and post offices or online.
