Seoul has made no progress in providing US$8 million in humanitarian aid to North Korea through international organizations.
An official at the Unification Ministry revealed on Tuesday that discussions with the organizations are still going on, and the ministry is weighing the conditions for the "appropriate time" to go ahead with the assistance.
The ministry announced in September that the money is only aimed at helping vulnerable children and pregnant women in North Korea but provided no timetable.
