Hyundai's plants in China are back in production after two stoppages because parts suppliers are now being paid the money the carmaker owes them.
The company on Friday said Hyundai and its Chinese partner BAIC started paying suppliers’ unpaid fees on Thursday.
Earlier BAIC, which handles finances in the joint venture, demanded a 20-percent discount on parts if it was to cough up, but it later relented.
