Iran's footballers arrived here on Saturday ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Korea later this week.
The match, one of the final Asian qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, will take place in Seoul on Thursday.
Head coach Carlos Queiroz made it clear Iran is looking to win despite having already qualified, posting an unbeaten streak in eight matches with 6 wins and 2 draws.
It is a crucial match for Korea, which is in second place in its group with 4 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses, only 1 point ahead of Uzbekistan. Away teams usually arrive two or three days prior to a match, but Iran arrived with five days to spare in order to adjust to the time difference.
Queiroz said his priority is to maintain Iran's unbeaten streak and finish the round without conceding a goal, and added that the team will be looking to win against Korea.
