North Korea on Thursday called U.S. President Donald Trump's bluff with detailed plans to surround the U.S. territory of Guam in the Pacific Ocean in "enveloping fire."

It said the plans, complete with missile trajectory and targets, will be finalized next week, and then the Strategic Rocket Forces will await orders to strike from commander-in-chief Kim Jong-un, the forces' commander Kim Rok-gyom was quoted as saying by the official [North] Korean Central News Agency.

The announcement, which included detailed maps, came after a week of an increasingly heated war of words between North Korea and the U.S. that saw Trump threaten Pyongyang with "fire and fury."

Kim shot back, "Sound dialogue is not possible with such a guy bereft of reason and only absolute force can work on him."

The plan is to launch four Hwasong-12 medium-to-long range ballistic missiles toward Guam.

"The Hwasong-12 rockets to be launched" by the People's Army "will cross the sky above Shimane, Hiroshima and Koichi prefectures of Japan." The commander added, "They will fly for 3,356.7 km for 1,065 seconds and hit the waters 30 to 40 km away from Guam.
