The search for the remains of missing passengers inside the wreck of the ferry Sewol will be wrapped up by the end of August.
Search workers on Sunday said they hope to complete the initial search of the passenger decks by this week and then conduct a second detailed probe by the end of this month.
They will start combing through the cargo bay in July.
The remains of four out of nine missing passengers have been found inside the salvaged wreck.
The ferry sank in April 2014, killing more than 300 passengers, mostly high-schoolers on a field trip.
