President Moon Jae-in's approval rating stands at a whopping 88 percent, according to a poll by Gallup Korea of 1,003 people.
Only six percent disapprove of the president, who came to office amid high hopes that he will clean out the stables of Korean politics, while another six had no opinion.

The approval rating is up from 87 percent last week.
Gallup said that ousted ex-President Park Geun-hye's approval rating three weeks after her election in 2013 stood at 70 percent, but there was a time lag because Moon started his term immediately, without the usual transition period of several weeks where people's ardor has time to cool.
