He won the men's 400-m freestyle event on Tuesday with a time of 3:43.68, about two seconds faster than his record of 3:45:63 in the preliminary for the Rio 2016 Olympics in August.
On Monday, he finished first in men's 200-m freestyle with a time of 1:45.01, also some three seconds faster than his record of 1:48.06 in Rio.
