Choo Shin-soo of the Texas Rangers ended his injury-marred season on Sunday when the Rangers were defeated by the Toronto Blue Jays in the best-of-five American League Division Series.
With the third consecutive loss, the Rangers failed to advance to the American League Championship Series in Major League Baseball.
Choo was on the disabled list four times due to injuries this season and only played three games toward the end of the regular season in September and October.
Choo only played in one of the three games against the Blue Jays, where he went 0-3.
His record for the season includes a batting average of 0.242, seven homers, and 17 RBIs. This is his worst record since 2007, when he hit 0.294 and 5 RBIs in six games with the Cleveland Indians before his breakthrough in the MLB.
