The most searched dish by Chinese tourists who visited Korea last month was budae jjigae or spicy sausage stew.

The Korea Tourism Organization on Monday said it analyzed Dianping data of 200,000 Chinese tourists who used the app in Korea in August, and budae jjigae was the most searched dish with 23.46 percent.

Chicken was next with 21.31 percent, followed by bulgogi or korean-style barbecued beef with 19.32 percent, jokbal or glazed pigs' feet with 10.01 percent, samgyetang or chicken soup with ginseng with 8.96 percent and dolsot bibimbap or rice with assorted vegetables in a hot stone pot.

Dianping is China's largest restaurant review app. Some 15,000 restaurants in Seoul are listed on the app.
