Apple Lags Behind Samsung, LG in After-Sales Service Satisfaction

    Apple iPhone users pay twice as much for after-sales service as Samsung and LG customers do and are less satisfied, according to a consumer report.

    Market researcher Consumer Insight on Monday published the report based on an e-mail survey of 4,012 consumers between ages 14 and 64 in May.

    LG and Samsung smartphone owners gave scores of 781 and 768 points out of 1,000 on the satisfaction survey while iPhone users gave 651 points.

    About 570 people said they paid for the service, with iPhone users spending an average of W219,000, compared to W111,000 for Samsung users and W99,000 for LG users (US$1=W1,126).
