Korean cosmetics makers are expected to tap deeper into the Iranian market, after the two countries agreed to waive import inspections.
According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety on Monday, local manufacturers will be exempt from inspections for exports to Iran.
The ministry expects the measure to boost exports of Korean cosmetics to the Middle Eastern nation. The two countries also agreed to set up a promotional booth in Iran within the year, which will display and sell Korean cosmetics.
